Art Gathering was our own event — conceived, planned, promoted and run by us from concept through to teardown. The idea was a lakeside picnic in the heart of the city: free and open to all, built around creative arts, movement, community, and nature, with a market supporting local vendors alongside the day's programme. Set against the green backdrop of Tasik Kelana Jaya, the event brought together live DJs, flow art and fire performance, live UV painting, bubble play, a yoga session, water activities, and a craft market featuring everything from terrarium workshops to organic food — all tied together by an emcee to keep the day interactive. It drew over 500 people, and proved something we'd long believed: that immersive art and design aren't just for festivals and nightlife — they're for everyone, of every age.

Our décor anchored the whole experience. Using locally sourced bamboo and stretch fabric in a mix of colours, textures, and UV-reactive prints, we built the main stage and DJ booth as the event's centrepiece — positioned to frame the lake just steps away, doubling as both a functional stage and a striking photo backdrop from almost every angle. By night, it became a canvas for UV lighting and projection mapping that extended onto the surrounding buildings, making the whole space feel alive. Smaller bamboo-and-fabric checkpoints marked key spots across the grounds, giving the event a cohesive visual thread from end to end.
